So the 2017 version is done and dusted.
What would you like and not like to see for the 2018 event and what's on your wish list ?

More Ferrari! Although we saw first hand that just one car is quite enough to get the job done, too much of a good thing is still a good thing. Ideally I'd love to see 2-3 of each model around the mountain every February

I'd like to see few left-of-field GT3 model's pop up (but be limited to the Am Class). The Variety is great but I always like gawking at something new.

The return of the Viper CC also got me thinking if older model GT3 cars like it can be accommodated in some form of revision of Class B

I would like to see the race converge to GT3, GT4 and have Class B expanded to Cup/Challenge cars with its own BOP for the middle ground.

And while I like TCR cars I don't think they suit the 12 hour at the moment.

Hallelujah to that.
They got just about everything right over the race weekend IMO.

Oh, and maybe better control of what is allowed in class I. I love the sentimentality of the old BMW that won back in the production car days wobbling around at the back of the pack, but it was almost 30 seconds off the pace of the leaders. I think it's time to put it out to pasture

Agreed! I say restore the 335i to its 2007/10 glory and put it in the museum at Murry's.

I agree with Stu, Class B should become a class for the Cup cars and older GT3 models.

AM class I think should be just that, AM drivers only, Pro for pros only and Pro-Am for pros with an AM (see: car owner) driver.

Less dead track time on the Saturday.

I pretty much agree with this. Class B needs some work. The old BMW in invitational class needs to go as well. Everything else was pretty much perfect and one of the better races. The off track entertainment and attractions seem to have been improved. The exotic car displays are a great way to involve manufacturers and as a fan, I'd love the opportunity to see these cars close up.

Glad to see them stick with the formula and make a few improvements.

like most have stated on here, id like to see class b as a mix between Porsche, older spec gt3 (say anything older then 4-5 years) and the gt3 models that no longer have homologation like the viper and mosler....Gt4 leave it as is because that looks like a class on the grow, class I for invitational should still be here but for legit enduro specials like the MARC's, Daytona coupe, mazda rx8 grand am and so forthe (not so much a production class but one off specials as such).....

Leave the bmw 335 in. Just upgrade and it can become the opel mantra that's in the N24

I'd like to see the BMW return to full 3E spec and have a crack at the 6 Hour. Imagine being able to claim to be the only car to have won both races!

I agree with changing the Saturday schedule...maybe have full-field qualifying in the morning like this year but move the Class A-only session to the afternoon.

Yeah I have no issue with it getting a massive upgrade to become more of a enduro special, but as it sits in production form it is well off the pace./...

It seems the number of cars on the track is at its limit, with alot if not all drivers complaining of not being able to get a "Lap" with what was there and I'm talking about some of the slower drivers as well.

Will we see a couple of Accura/Honda NSXs next year?

That's a nice photo. You must have a good camera.

How come no one ever says, 'that was a nice meal, you must have a good oven'.

Not so much people missing out, but current drivers/teams going over to a different brand, teams and drivers come and go every year, so while some new cars will get added some other cars will drop off....
